Registered Psychologist
We are currently looking for a registered psychologist with Medicare eligibility to consult at Spectrum Health and Training. This opportunity highlights an established referral network within a well respected practice. Administration support is provided including bookings and billing as well as opportunities for peer support and supervision. It is essential that the successful candidate will have:
- Current registration with AHPRA
- Eligibility for Medicare provider number
- Completion of a minimum Masters in psychology or equivalent (4+2) qualification
- Own ABN and Professional Indemnity Insurance, or willingness to gain
- High ethical standards and professionalism
Registered Clinical Psychologist
We are currently looking for a registered clinical psychologist with Medicare eligibility to consult at Spectrum Health and Training. This opportunity highlights an established referral network within a well respected practice. Administration support is provided including bookings and billing as well as opportunities for peer support and supervision. This wonderful opportunity also promotes your lifestyle, with flexibility in your work environment, tasks and hours available. There also exists the opportunity to set your fee and service structure.
It is essential that the successful candidate will have:
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Clinical Psychologist
- Eligibility for Medicare provider number
- Completion of a minimum Masters in psychology or equivalent (Clinical Doctorate) qualification
- Own ABN and Professional Indemnity Insurance, or willingness to gain
- High ethical standards and professionalism
Registered Provisional Psychologist
At Spectrum Health and Training we offer limited placements yearly for Provisional Psychologists. The placement is within a private psychology practice, within a dynamic team including registered psychologists, clinical psychologists, and clinical registrars.
The position is a varied role including:
– Client liaison
– Calendar management and client file management
– Observation of clinical intervention
– Client intake
– Intervention
– Assessment and scoring
– Administrative work
– Report writing
– Exposure to private practice referral pathways
– Treatment group design and implementation
– Preparation of clinical resources
– Participation in case consultation and peer supervision
– Participation in clinical training program
– Opportunity for group supervision
– Treatment planning

No prior clinical experience is necessary, however, the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a high level of written communication and verbal skills, professional report writing and ethical and professional conduct. Psychology students working toward a 4+2 or 5+1 pathway are also welcomed to apply and will be considered for the role.
